Refund and Returns Policy

Thank you for purchasing The Cycling Iceberg. We take great pride in the quality of our premium 432-page cycling history book. Because we value your support, we want to ensure you are fully informed about our policies regarding returns and refunds.

1. Pre-Order Cancellations

Since The Cycling Iceberg is currently available for pre-order (expected to ship mid-June 2026), you have the right to cancel your order for a full refund at any time before the book has been shipped.

    • To cancel a pre-order, please contact us at cyclingiceberg@gmail.com with your order number.

2. Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Return Period)

Under EU consumer protection laws, you have the right to return your purchase within 14 days of receiving the book without providing a reason.

To be eligible for a return:

    • The book must be in the same condition that you received it (new, unread, and without damage to the spine or cover).

    • It must be in the original packaging.

    • You must provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

3. Return Shipping Costs

    • Customer Responsibility: You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.

    • Non-refundable: Original shipping costs from your order are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of the original shipping will be deducted from your refund (unless the return is due to our error or a damaged product).

    • Recommendation: Since the book is a premium item (~850g), we strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

4. Damaged or Incorrect Items

We strive for perfection, but if your book arrives damaged (e.g., significant dents, torn pages, or printing errors) or if you received the wrong item:

    1. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at cyclingiceberg@gmail.com.
    2. Include photos of the damage and the packaging.
    3. We will provide a replacement or a full refund (including shipping costs) at no extra charge to you.

5. Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected:

    1. We will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and whether the refund is approved.
    2. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment (Mollie/iDEAL or PayPal) within 14 days.

6. International Returns (Outside of the EU)

Please note that for international orders (Zone 3: USA, UK, AUS, etc.), customs duties and taxes are non-refundable. Returns from outside the EU may be subject to longer processing times and higher shipping costs, which remain the responsibility of the customer.
